Martín Gómez Ravetti

Hi, I'm an Assistant Professor at The Department of Production Engineering (DEP) at the Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG at Belo Horizonte - Brazil.

Research Interes

My research focuses on combinatorial optimisation, data mining and complex networks. From the applications point of view I have great interest in three areas:

  • Industrial applications - scheduling problems and logistics

  • Complex Networks

  • Data mining problems: My recent works are focusing on biomarkers discovery for classification.

Education

  • PhD in Computer Science (2004-2007) - Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (DCC-UFMG)
    Advisor: Dr. Geraldo Robson Mateus
    Co-advisor: Dr. Panos M. Pardalos

  • MSc in Computer Science (2002-2003) - Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais
